A non-profit organization, Contract Services Administration Trust Fund ("CSATF") administers a variety of programs for the benefit of the motion picture and television industry.

Important Facts about CSATF

  • CSATF is provided for and governed by the collective bargaining agreement (Basic Agreement of 1996, Article XXV) by and between the Producers, The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees ("I.A.T.S.E."), the Moving Picture Technicians Artists and Allied Crafts of the United States, its Territories, and Canada ("M.P.T.A.A.C."); as well as the collective bargaining agreements by and between the Producers and the Basic Crafts Locals (Article 18).

  • CSATF is administered by a Board of Trustees appointed by the Alliance of Motion Picture & Television Producers ("AMPTP").

  • Signatory Producers make contributions to CSATF for each hour worked by or guaranteed a covered employee.

Industry-wide implementation of controlled substances testing and alcohol testing programs for Local #399 rostered individuals who are subject to mandatory testing per the Department of Transportation regulation

 

Coordination of Grievances and Expedited Arbitrations (pursuant to the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement)

CSATTF

Each fiscal year, the CSATF Board of Trustees allocates monies to fund job-related skills training programs for eligible Industry employees. These programs are administered through a separate Trust Agreement known as Contract Services Administration Training Trust Fund ("CSATTF").
